WHY I STARTED YOUTUBE AND BLOGGING

HELLO LOVELY FRIENDS, WELCOME BACK. I HOPE YOU HAVE HAD A LOVELY WEEK/WEEKEND.

its the last day of the week and today blog is going to be an engaging and very personal blog about why i started youtube and blogging.

Be sure to check out my social platforms which i will leave at the bottom of this blog and let me know where you are from and if you have a blog page, twitter, youtube channel or Instagram for me to check out as i am currently interacting and engaging with new follows and subscribers who read my blogs and watch my videos and tweet me.

We all should be encouraging one another through our social platforms and supporting each other because at the end of the day we all have different reasons for starting youtube or blogging but even those who have more subscribers or more followers than others shouldn't forget that everyone had to start at the bottom and work their way up the ladder. Always give someone a helping hand even if it is just a like or follow or to subscribe.

Let just jump right into today blog.
I started youtube 3 months ago. i have always watched people vlogging and doing main channel videos about things they love and enjoy to do. since being a single parent i honestly dont have time to work or look for work because my daughter is not yet in nursery until she is three years old. So i built up the courage to start my own youtube channel where i would do main channel videos about things i am passionate about, many of which are obvious, (makeup, fashion, unboxing hauls, baking, daily living)

Honestly i didnt know the first thing about how much effort i had to put in to making just one video for my channel, or did i not know how to edit a video and upload it or even share it to other social platforms.

So i struggled for the first couple of videos but i kept at it and now i have already 30 videos on my channel which i have also started vlogging every day in October(vlogtober) i always had a clear mindset at first of the videos i was going to be uploading on my youtube channel but now over the 3 months ive realized that i am really passionate about vlogging and daily living, i find it so much easier to do a vlog than i would to do a main channel video which i still love to do. Of course i am still learning something new everyday, how to edit my video, how to share, interacting with other youtubers, interaction over social platforms. All of which i now am getting used to doing as it just become a daily habit of using all. i love interacting with everyone. Youtube does have its pros and cons like every other social platform you are engaging on.

At first, i admit i was doing youtube to see if i could get subscribers and earn money. But i know now its not about earning money or how many people i can get to subscribe to my channel. To me now its about learning to grow as a small youtuber and interacting with many others who also have a youtube channel, and supporting one another on social platforms like youtube, Instagram, twitter, bloggers, etc. if your are doing youtube to gain money or subscribers then your in the wrong mindset, yes its a long term goal that you can achieve but be true to yourself and enjoy the videos you are making and you will progressively improve your engagement with others and your channel will soon grow.

Its now been three months and the reason why i started youtube is help with my self confidence. I have always been a shy reserved person and always quiet. With youtube you are putting videos out there for everyone in the world to see. i feel as though i have come a long way and although three months is not long i feel like ive learned so much through youtube and watching other youtubers like myself grow and grow with confidence.
Being a full time mum i only have a couple of hours to myself when my daughter has her afternoon naps and doing youtube is my motivation, it keeps my mind occupied and i can focus on something positive and gain confidence from it. i also came to realize that i can look back at my videos in 1 years time and show my daughter when she is older.

Im so happy i started youtube and although i am still learning how to enhance my videos, background set up and edit thumbnails, i can still focus on learning other things aside from youtube, like blogging.
Now i didnt even know anything about blogging. i didnt know what blogging meant. i was so caught up with youtube for a number of years, the more i seen new people doing youtube, it made me want to try to do something and spread positive vibes. It was only recently that some youtubers were talking about their fashion blogs, food blogs and travel blogs. But i never really thought anything of it until one day when i typed in google blog and read up about what a blogger was. So i come to the conclusion that blogger is for writers and creative minds and it can be a self diary or whatever you choose it to be.

so i started to write and it just seemed like it was so much easier for me to write something in words and i can express more in my words, whereas some people express more in a video. We all have a creative side and i believe mine is writers blog. I love to write about fashion, makeup, food, festivals, life as a single parent, travelling. product reviews and unboxing products. i could literally sit at my computer and write all day. i have been so positive in my writers blog and love everything i blogged about.

The reason i started blogging was to write and give my honest opinion on new products that ive bought and tested out on youtube and i feel as though i can express more through writing than what i can if i was to do a video. This is because i am a shy person and i am trying to grow with confidence through doing videos on my youtube channel.

I hope you enjoyed today blog i know it something different and i just want to engage with you more on a personal level and explain why i started youtube and blogger. Three months into using youtube and blogger, i have also been engaging on twitter which is yet again another popular social platform which many youtubers and bloggers seem to be using aswel as Instagram.

Throughout October i have been doing vlogtober and i have been using all my social platforms daily and really enjoy speaking and interacting with people from all over the world.

Once October is over i am going to be more active in my blogspot because i love to write and it makes me happy to know that others enjoy what i write in my blogs. i am still learning how to interact and engage with my followers and sharing my thoughts on their blogs also.
